Beautiful wedding weekend of Juhi + Vivek at the Shenandoah Country Club. We shot some of the mehendi done by Ekta Kansara on Thursday , sangeet on Friday, and the wedding day on Saturday. It was great working with Juhi and Vivek’s family and it was also a pleasure by working with some of the most professional vendors in the business. Rajul of Blissful Weddings and Events,, Aali of Q Studio, and we were able to get pristine audio by plugging into DJ Robby’s sound board (djrobby@gmail.com) .
Although it rained, it didn’t stop Meghan + Chris from having a blast on their wedding day! We got some really fun with shots with photographer Jim Shields at the family property.
Louis and I had a blast filming Lesley and Ryan’s wedding this past weekend up in Charlevoix, Michigan at Castle Farms. Ryan is a fighter pilot in the Air Force and they live in Florida yet they chose to have their wedding in the great state of Michigan. It was our first time working with photographers Jenn and Dean out of Grand Haven Jenn Dean Photo and we cant wait to do it again.
Alissandra & Matthew had a beautiful wedding up in Harbor Springs, Michigan at the hard to find Harbor Springs Casino. The empty structure was converted into a beautiful area for the reception by Michelle Rago and her staff. We shot alongside photographers Liz Banfield and Adrienne Page. The Simone Vitale Band provided the entertainment and as usual the party rocked. The sweet lighting at the Casino was done by Frost Chicago. Alissandra’s Father gave a toast at the reception that really struck a chord with me, especially after having a daughter of my own and realizing how precious time just flies by.
Demetria and Jonathan had an awesome wedding that took place at the River Birch Lodge in Hartland, Michigan. The party was planned by Carolyn Hefner of The China Closet and we shot alongside Blaine Siesser.
Louis and his team had the pleasure of working with Kristen and Brandon on their wedding day this past Saturday. We shot her brother Michael’s wedding a few years back and it was great to work with their family again! They had a beautiful ceremony at the Grosse Pointe Academy Chapel followed by the reception at the Detroit Athletic Club. We worked beside photographer Abby Rose from Ann Arbor. The day capped off with shots of the fireworks at Commercia Park from the rooftop of the DAC.
We had a blast working with Rosina and Jeff on their wedding day. Jeff is a huge hockey fan and Rosina surprised him with a Stanley Cup groom’s cake with all his groomsmen inscribed on the cup! They were even introduced to the Hockey Night in Canada original theme song! After the ceremony we had a cool photo shoot downtown with photographer Chris Parker who had some great spots to visit. Ralph Bellisario did his magic for the flowers at the reception and Stella and her band Intrigue played some great tunes.
When Alison and Martin approached us a few months back and asked us to shoot their “destination” wedding in Detroit I was like “for real?!?”. Alison and Martin are not native to Detroit, they met here a few years back while in school and decided to come back here to get married. I love Detroit, and when I heard their story we were very excited to document their “Destination Wedding in Detroit”. The event took place at the Detroit Athletic Club and we shot alongside Robert Bruce. Mike Staff productions provided the tunes for the reception.
Mindy and Joshua had a beautiful day for a wedding in November. Sunny and 70s with a nice breeze that added to some of the photos. The party was planned by Dee Dee Hoffman and we had a blast working along side photographers Samantha and Brian from A thousand Words Photography www.photographybysamanthacover.com. Makeup was done by Marijana Camaj out of the MarioMax Salon in West Bloomfield (LuXXeMakeupArt.com). Enjoy this short snippet of their wedding day!
